Salon des Éditions d'Art en Occitanie #3

The Occitanie Art Book Fair will be open on Friday, May 29, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the José Cabanis Media Library.

For this third edition, the Occitanie Art Publishing Fair—initiated and organized by air de Midi, a contemporary art network in Occitanie, in partnership with Le Nouveau Printemps and the José Cabanis Media Library—will bring together some fifty exhibitors—artist-authors, students, contemporary art centers, independent publishers, museums, artist-run spaces, art schools, collectives, associations, etc.—to present and sell art publications, as well as self-published or co-produced artist books.

Two days to discover the richness and diversity of contemporary creation in Occitanie, all on paper.

The Fair is part of the opening weekend of the Le Nouveau Printemps festival and will take place on May 29 and 30, 2026, at the José Cabanis Media Library.

This year, a roundtable discussion titled “Publishing an Art Center—On Three Monographs” will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Media Library’s Auditorium. An opportunity for discussion to explore how the editorial and graphic design projects of three collaboratively produced books reflect very different approaches to archives, iconography, and art history, and thus pursue very different goals.

Alongside the bookstalls, an exhibition featuring a selection of works by regional artists from the collection of Les Abattoirs, Musée – Frac Occitanie Toulouse will be on display.
