Manuel Pomar

Manuel Pomar is an artist, curator, author, co-founder, and programming director 
of Lieu-Commun. He is actively involved in associations such as air de Midi, PinkPong, and F.L.I.R.T in Toulouse, as well as Zébra 3 in Bordeaux. An activist in the artist-run spaces scene in France since 1997, he is a staunch supporter of atypical artists who flourish on the fringes of art, and in his writing and curatorial work he develops a sensitive and contemplative style that breaks with the conventions of the genre.

He has curated exhibitions at Villa Arson in Nice, Fabrique Pola in Bordeaux, La Panacée in Montpellier, and L'Œil de Poisson in Quebec City.
