Meriem Berrada

Meriem Berrada is a curator, artistic director, and cultural strategy consultant. Curator of the Moroccan Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2026), her curatorial practice explores both contemporary photography and the dialogues between art and traditional craftsmanship. She has organized major exhibitions and was artistic director of Tasweer Photo (Qatar) and co-curator of the Rencontres de Bamako.

Ranked among the influential figures under 40 (Apollo), she plays a key role in the creation of MACAAL and is committed to structuring the African artistic ecosystem.
